ENOLA, PA – The Members 1st Charitable Foundation, which aims to strengthen local grassroot organizations through various funding initiatives, is pleased to announce the recipients of its third funding cycle of 2026. A grand total of $57,000 has been distributed to 14 nonprofits that work to enhance communities across Central and Northeastern Pennsylvania.

"Each funding cycle allows the foundation to invest in local nonprofits that address pressing community challenges," said Sara Firestone, Executive Director of the Members 1st Charitable Foundation. "Whether it's improving access to food, housing, mental services or financial education, we are honored to support these organizations as they continue to do the diligent work to strengthen their community and all who call it home."

The following organizations have been selected to receive grants for their impactful projects and initiatives:

  • All In Theatre – Dauphin County, PA
  • American Rescue Workers, Inc. – Lycoming County, PA
  • Beacon Clinic for Health and Hope – Dauphin County, PA
  • CASA of Berks County – Berks County, PA
  • Cay Galgon Life House – Lehigh Valley, PA
  • Domestic Violence Services of Cumberland and Perry Counties – Cumberland County, PA
  • Healthy Steps Diaper Bank – Dauphin County, PA
  • Janus School – Lancaster County, PA
  • Lancaster Area Habitat for Humanity, Inc. – Lancaster County, PA
  • SWAN: Scaling Walls A Note at a Time – Lancaster County, PA
  • The Salvation Army, Lebanon – Lebanon County, PA
  • United Disabilities Services Foundation – Lancaster County, PA
  • UPMC Pinnacle Foundation – Dauphin County, PA
  • York Habitat for Humanity – York County, PA

Grant recipients were selected for programs that advance the Foundation's mission through youth and family support, food security, housing stability, mental health services, financial education and overall community well-being.

The Foundation's fourth funding cycle of 2026 will close on November 1, 2026. Eligible nonprofit organizations interested in applying for funding can review application requirements and submit materials at members1stfoundation.org.
