O'Fallon, Mo. - West Community Credit Union is pleased to announce the appointment of Jay Lewis as Chief Risk Officer (CRO). Lewis will serve as the credit union's senior risk executive, responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining an enterprise-wide risk management framework that supports the safety, soundness, and sustainability of the organization.

Lewis brings more than 30 years of financial services experience to West Community, including leadership positions as Vice President of Operations, Chief Financial Officer, and most recently Chief Executive Officer of Gateway Metro Federal Credit Union. His career began with the Missouri State Auditor's Office, where he developed a passion for evaluating processes and controls that strengthen organizations and protect those they serve.
